This aircraft was one of those so-called enchanted for me. First it landed on the northern runway at Munich despite coming from the south and afterwards taxiing through the whole airport to the cargo area in the southwest. And then, during my numerous Budapest visits, it either did not fly when I was there, or it operated in absolutely inconvenient times. Only now, when I already have almost everything that operates to Budapest regularly, I decided to go solely for it to finally catch it.
On occasional basis company One Air flies from Hongkong to Budapest, their B747-400 in yellow variant of paint scheme appeared on 29 January 2025, unfortunately shortly before sunset and moreover with sun dimmed by white clouds on the Western horizon.
B747-400s of Fly Meta are also irregular visitors to Budapest, transporting cargo from China. This aircraft was transferred from China Airlines and departed exceptionally from RWY 31R, which is used for landing traffic.
The latest addition to the fleet of Georgian airline Geosky, this Boeing 767-300F registration 4L-GEL, joined the pre-Xmas air cargo bridge from China to Budapest, while their B757-200F already switched operations to Debrecen.
The sole Boeing 757-200 of Georgian airline Geosky received modified colours and after a longer time it started to appear again in Budapest on cargo flights from China.
YTO Cargo Airlines already operates to Budapest for some time, but only on 09 November 2024 the flight was finally performed during daylight and moreover in nice weather.

Among mostly white and for spotters totally unattractive summer leases this A320 of Cambodian airline Sky Angkor Airlines stands out as one of a few. It was leased in for the summer season by Egyptian Nile Air and the aircraft itself carries the colours of bankrupt Brazilian airline ITA Transportes Aéreos, however it was not taken up by them.
Wizz Air Hungary is official partner of Hungarian olympics and paralympics 2024, however the games are coming to an end, so it was time to visit Budapest before the special scheme on this A321neo will disappear again.
Although B747-400F of SF Airlines is definitely more beautiful in their full colours, the first landing of this incomplete colour scheme on the new arrival to the fleet motivated me to visit Budapest for a few hours on 17 June 2024.
